About Me

A Blend of Engineering and Art

For me, automotive engineering isn’t just a profession; it’s a canvas for creativity and problem-solving. I believe vehicles are more than machines—they’re expressions of individuality, culture, and innovation. Whether it’s giving a new life to a classic car with an EV conversion or analyzing the ingenuity and complexity of a hybrid system, I see every project as an opportunity to blend creativity and science.

At The Torque Academy, I explore the intersections of these worlds. Some of the topics I have ample experience with, some of them I’ll be learning as I go. My objective is to be able to teach you how to learn, if that makes sense, while exploring the creative side of engineering.

The blog will cover many aspects: from practical guides to deep technical dives. My aim is to make engineering concepts accessible to hobbyists, students, and professionals alike.

My Approach: Precision Meets Passion

Having worked on projects ranging from calibrating  hybrid powertrains to solving complex root-cause issues, I bring a structured yet approachable methodology to every topic. I’m here to break engineering down into small, easy to understand pieces, empowering you to tackle challenges methodically, confidently and creatively. That’s why The Torque Academy offers step-by-step guides, deep technical dives, and in-depth series designed to inspire curiosity and action.

In each series of articles I’ll attempt to develop a method to boil complex issues down to their First Principles.

I’d love to hear your comments, questions or concerns, so feel free to reach out via the Contact Us page!

Why Did I Start The Torque Academy?

The automotive world is evolving rapidly, and so are the ways we engage with it. From my early days fixing motorcycles and supercharging my Civic Si to working on complex systems for OEMs, I’ve realized the importance of knowledge sharing. The Torque Academy is my way of giving back to the automotive community—a hub for enthusiasts and professionals to learn, collaborate, and keep the interest in automotive engineering going.

Whether you’re here to learn about EV conversions, engine tuning, explore basic automotive engineering principles, or join a community of enthusiasts, you’re in the right place. Together, we’ll explore not just how cars work but how we can reimagine them.
